Hornback Chiropractic & Wellness began in 2002, when Dr. Cynthia Hornback opened her practice with a straightforward idea: evaluate carefully, explain plainly, and treat what the exam actually shows.
Two decades later that idea runs three offices across Sarasota and Manatee County, a team of five chiropractic physicians, and a wellness membership more than 600 patients use to make regular care part of their lives.

The practice in plain terms
Care starts with a free initial consultation. If the doctor recommends an exam, imaging, or treatment, you hear your costs before anything moves forward, and the plan is built around your specific findings with checkpoints along the way. If your progress stalls, the plan changes. And if what you need is outside chiropractic care, you are told directly and pointed to the right kind of provider. That last part is not a slogan; it is the standard the practice was built on.
The clinical toolkit is broad by design. Techniques used across the practice include Diversified, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Activator Methods, and the Kennedy Decompression Technique, alongside non-surgical spinal decompression, acupuncture, and SoftWave® therapy. Which tools your plan uses depends on your exam, not on a package.

All of the practice’s doctors treat pediatric patients as well as adults. When you schedule, you can request a specific doctor; if you have no preference, you are placed with the doctor whose availability best fits your timing.

The wellness membership
More than 600 patients use the practice’s monthly, direct-pay membership to make ongoing care simple: adult and child options, an annual exam included, and X-rays included whenever exam findings call for them. It makes regular care simple for members, and it has quietly become one of the things patients mention most. The membership page has the full picture.

Insurance without the runaround
The practice is in-network with Aetna, Meritain, Medicare, MultiPlan/PHCS, and the VA Community Care Network. For any plan, the team verifies your coverage before your visit so the cost of care is never a surprise. The insurance and payment options page keeps the current lists.
