Care Comparison

Compare Your Care Options

There are two ways to pay for chiropractic care at Hornback Chiropractic & Wellness: the traditional way, per visit, with insurance where it applies, and the wellness membership, one monthly amount with a visit cadence built in.

More than 600 patients chose the membership; plenty of others are better served per visit. This page lays out the difference plainly so you can tell which column you belong in.

Medicare Steps

The Medicare sequence, spelled out

Medicare covers chiropractic adjustments that treat an active problem, billed the traditional way. Once your care shifts to wellness or maintenance visits, which Medicare does not cover, the membership becomes available as a simple way to continue regular care. Your doctor and the front desk tell you where your care stands in that sequence, so the transition is a conversation, never a surprise on a bill.

Care Decision

How to decide

Count how you actually use care. If the last year was two visits after you overdid the yard work, stay traditional. If care is part of how you run your body, or your family’s, monthly, every other week, weekly, the membership usually wins on both simplicity and budget, and the benefits page shows the exact numbers. Still unsure? That is what intake is for: your initial consultation is free, and the team runs your actual usage against both models before you commit to either.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Traditional care bills per visit, through your insurance where it applies or directly. The membership replaces per-visit billing with one monthly amount that has a visit cadence built in: monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly adjustments by tier. Same doctors, same offices, different way of paying for regular care.
It depends entirely on how often you come, which is why the intake conversation runs your actual usage against both. Regular users generally find one predictable monthly amount easier than per-visit math; occasional visitors often do fine paying per visit. No one here will push you into the wrong column.
Insurance applies to covered care billed per visit; the team verifies your plan before your visit. The membership typically covers what insurance does not: wellness and maintenance care. Medicare patients have a specific sequence, explained below.
Talk to the front desk. The practical answer depends on where you are in your care, and the team will lay out your options plainly.
